That’s a quote from a good friend of mine Michael Miller and it just about sums me up.  At least I try to make it so.

Seriously though, I am a graphic designer and digital marketing strategist who hates the term “Social Media Expert.” (There are other reasons why I hate it, but mostly because I believe you can’t be an expert at something that constantly changes at such a rapid pace.)  I am currently the Studio Director for a great digital agency called VM Foundry.  I received my degree in Communications and Design from the award winning program at Texas State University – San Marcos. (Eat’em Up Cats!)  There I met my beautiful wife and became involved in a wonderful organization Men Against Violence.  I, now, serve on the Board of Directors for the national organization.

I love new technology and gadgets but I also love getting away and spending some time outdoors. I believe that if technology doesn’t make your life simpler/easier it’s pointless.

As I said before, I love art, design, music, shoes, fashion and anything outdoors. It’s all beautiful and inspiring in some way. A couple of other interesting points about me:

I am a die-hard Bobcat fan. Eat’em Up ‘Cats.
I believe in hard work and karma.
I’m a huge sneaker head and shoe connoisseur.
I, secretly, wish I was a rapper.
I love to travel
I love life, my wife, family and friends and my dog.
